Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Easley.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No this is not a smooth or easy journey. There are many challenges as a fully independent artist who owns her independent record label Class A Records.

Some challenges are funding, and time management because I wear all the hats. And staying healthy with long hours and travel. But with Faith & hard work I am slowly making progress. Never Give Up no matter how hard it gets. And it will get hard at times.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Recording Artist, Singer/Songwriter, Music Producer, & Radio Personality on two radio shows. Angela Easley’s Rock & Blues Roots Review on Radio Free Nashville & Angela Easley’s Bayou Blues Lounge on TGRN BLUES. I develop & mentor young artists through lessons & music business consulting. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist for 18 years and have a large celebrity client list.

I take pride in everything I do and always give 110 percent. I guess if I had to pick one, I would say my #1 Blues album “RISE”. It debuted #1 Blues album on Billboard Charts & Soundscan. “Rise” also debuted at #1 on SiriusXM Bluesville for two weeks in a row. Three #1’s on Roots Music Report & Two #1’s on Radio Indie Alliance. And more…. all on my very own Independent Record Label Class A Records. Thank you, God!

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The music business is forever evolving with technology.

Independent artists can reach the masses now thanks to the internet. I do hope the economic side of the music business gets better for independent artists. It’s very hard to track your royalties and the pay scale is not what it used to be.
