Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Jarrett.
Hi Angela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Security of A Lady started with just the heart to help other women even teenage girls who was me, I’m reminded of my mentor who played such a big part in my life, and I miss her so much. She was someone who identified past the facade I carried when I was a teenager, I was angry, I had daddy issues the weight of neglect. The impact she had on my life was life changing. Having her as a mentor showcase the beauty of planting a seed in someone life.
Security of A Lady started on Facebook I created a group page in 2021 I would write posts, encouraging messages and it grew. Women from all over would message me asking for prayer and say thank you for your post.
We never know the impact we can have on someone life it became my desire to just shine light on the next woman in anyway God use me.
From Security of A Lady, I birth The Vault Room podcast which you can find on Apple podcast to this day.
Over the years Security of A Lady hosted a clothing give away drive, coat drive, feeding the homeless. I’m always looking for ways to give back.
In November 2025 I release my first book A Wife Entry and that can be found on Amazon and it’s me sharing my journey of my first ten years of marriage. I give the bumps and everything I learned.
Security of A Lady was created to help introduce a young lady/woman to the best version of herself. I know this is my purpose and what God wants me to do.
Which is why I’m currently in the process of enrolling for school for Christian Counseling to become a counselor which integrates psychological methods with Christian beliefs to support emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
God has blessed me and I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for who He placed in my life to help mold me into this woman, I am today.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. It’s times where I was clueless and didn’t have the support from people who I thought would support me. I quickly had to learn as long as I’m doing what I know God called me to that’s all that matters.
We live in a world, in a city that it’s all about popularity, If you not known you won’t get the support that’s just the truth.
But I learned to focus on doing my part and as long as I have good intentions whether I touch 20, 5 or even 2 that’s enough for me.

My work is hosting women bible study, blogger, a writer. I love writing which is how I end up writing my first book.
I’m proud of not conforming and changing who I am to fit in I stay true to who I know God purpose me to be.
What set me apart is I’m okay with not being known. But I’m very grateful for this opportunity to share my story.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Advice I will give regarding a mentor. It’s important to have someone as a mentor that can guide you, I said once before I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t meet my mentor, she was the best and I carry every teaching, every lesson, every wisdom she poured into me.
What worked well for me is learning to just trust God. I have been reading the book of Psalms and studying David and just the heart, confidence and love he had for God. Worship was his love language to God. I now understand what David meant when he said The Lord is my Shepherd!
