Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariana Kaufman.
Hi Ariana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. When I turned 18, I moved to Los Angeles to begin my acting career. It hasn’t been a smooth ride, but I love this craft so much it’s worth the heartache.
Although the ride is almost always curvy, there have been some wonderful moments along the way.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been so many almost moments. I have starred in movies that ended up becoming shelved, didn’t get the funding, or had to be taken out of Cannes.
These moments are very painful to deal with, but I like to think they will help my future performances.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am mainly an actor but I also work with horses.
Recently I starred in a film directed by Remi Adeleke. The film centers around the horrors of human trafficking.
What sets me apart from others? I’m not sure what sets me apart, as everyone is unique and exciting in their own way. I might be the person the director and producers are looking for because of the way I hold myself, my energy, or a million other reasons.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Social media has helped us unknowns to distribute our work publicly. I’m not sure where things are headed, but I like to think this industry will see more inclusivity, diversity, and compassion.
