Check Out Ashlee Courson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashlee Courson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always had a passion for storytelling. Whether through journalism, photography, videography, or general content creation. In 2022, I made the move to Nashville and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the city’s vibrant hospitality scene, especially it’s restaurants. What began as a fun hobby, sharing my dining experiences on TikTok, quickly gained momentum. As my content resonated with both locals and visitors, my audience grew to over 80,000 followers across all platforms.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with major brands including Uber Eats, Steve Madden, and Longhorn Steakhouse. Today, I continue to create engaging content while also offering digital products, such as Nashville guides and curated itineraries, through my website. It’s been an exciting journey turning a personal passion into a thriving creative career.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like many creators, the journey hasn’t always been smooth. There are times of uncertainty, wondering where the next collaboration will come from or navigating how to price my services in a way that’s both fair for local businesses and sustainable for myself. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been burnout. Balancing the demands of content creation with personal life isn’t always easy, and I’ve had to learn the importance of setting boundaries and prioritizing rest. That said, each challenge has pushed me to grow, and I’ve come out stronger and more focused on the other side.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a content creator based in Nashville, specializing in lifestyle, food, and travel content with a strong focus on the local hospitality scene. I’m known for highlighting some of the best places to eat, drink, and explore in Nashville through engaging videos, photography, and curated digital guides. My content has built a loyal following of both locals and tourists who trust my recommendations when experiencing the city.

What sets me apart is my authentic approach. I genuinely love exploring new places and sharing honest, visually compelling content that feels personal rather than promotional. I take pride in building a brand that feels relatable and community-driven while still working with national brand names.

One of the things I’m most proud of is turning what started as a creative outlet into a sustainable business. From growing a dedicated audience to launching digital products like custom itineraries and Music City guides, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see how far I have come.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is creating meaningful connections. Whether it’s through the content I share, the collaborations I take on, or the recommendations I provide. I want my work to inspire people to explore, support local businesses, and experience their city (or a new one) in a more intentional way.

Authenticity is also incredibly important to me. In a space that can often feel curated or transactional, I strive to remain honest and grounded. I believe that when you stay true to your voice and values, the right audience and opportunities will follow.
