Check Out Asia Jones Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Asia Jones.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As a child, I was always into art and fashion. I was also very quiet and reserved, which I believe is what brought out my creativity and eye for detail. I loved drawing my own fashion designs, so I was convinced I was going to design school right after I graduated from high school.

Later in life, those plans changed and I got into the other side of fashion styling. I wanted to style women like me. I grew up as a petite 4’11 girl which made me a little self-conscious most of the time. I was always the cute short girl that wasn’t really taken seriously.

I used fashion and styling myself to build my confidence. It was sort of an outlet for me. A few years ago, I made it my mission to empower other petite women through personal styling. That’s where I am today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been a few bumps in the road.

For a long time, I dealt with self-doubt. I wondered if I was truly good enough to do this. I also felt like because it wasn’t a traditional path I wasn’t really getting the support that I wanted from the people around me.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a personal stylist that specializes in petite fashion.

I love helping women, especially those like me. I feel it’s been my calling. I help my clients empower themselves so that they can have the confidence to show up authentically in their personal and professional lives.

I’m just proud that I stepped into my purpose despite the naysayers.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a very quiet child. I stayed to myself a lot. I loved reading and always had a book in my hand. I was just a creative child with a big imagination.
