Check Out Augie Christian’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Augie Christian.

Hi Augie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Even while working in a corporate world for 25 years, my heart was always in health and fitness. I’ve constantly tried to absorb as much information on health topics, sought training for various methods, and experimented with different foods and supplements. All the while actively keeping up with my own strength and conditioning goals. 8 years ago, the door opened with a chance to coach group fitness. CrossFit being the methodology for classes gave me the opportunity to learn for myself and work with others with endurance, weight lifting, and basic gymnastics style movements with all ages.

Over the course of my career, I’ve gotten to train in over 50 different gyms and collect many positive influences on my life and fitness.

This journey led me to Redline Quality Fitness where I am now. Here I’ve gotten to fine-tune my skills and knowledge base to share with my clients.

Most of my time has been spent with adults of all ages but it is truly special to work with younger athletes.

Raising two young boys with my wife has reinforced the need for me to be as healthy and fit as possible to give them the best of me for the longest amount of time. Passing along these qualities to children is equally important.

My goal is to give adults the opportunity to have the highest quality of life while giving children a foundation to build on that gives them pride.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been smooth. I believe the key to making something easier is to find out what you are. We can’t be everything to everyone. Find your niche and run with it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a personal trainer at Redline quality Fitness I coach several group classes a week. Outside of those classes, I train individuals with unique fitness goals as well as small groups. I have several small groups of younger athletes. For example, a group of rising 8th-grade multi-sport athletes and a group of 10–11-year-old baseball players.

It makes me very proud to see progress my clients never thought they could get. I especially love feedback from parents about what their children have been able to achieve.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
The support of my family is by far the luckiest thing that has happened. I’m also blessed to work around other professionals that are knowledgeable and collaborative.
