Today we’d like to introduce you to Bonnie Morgan

Bonnie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always loved social media, whether it was creating youtube videos or collaborating with boutiques and jewelry brands on instagram, but my social media career really picked up with Tik Tok. After college, I lived in Charlotte, North Carolina and posted about where I was shopping, what I was buying, and series of videos furnishing and moving through three different apartments. My Tik Tok, Shopwithbon, was really full circle as I was working in buying for Neiman Marcus so fashion and design was really encompassing me. I’ve received amazing opportunities from social media, such as traveling all over the US to create content, run campaigns, and help create content for companies and brands that I love, and I couldn’t be more thankful for all the opportunities and growth. Fast forward to moving to Nashville, I was eager to connect with the local community here and find a way to meet new friends. I decided to start Nashville Collective Club with one of my friends who also recently moved here, and we set out to curate a community full of creators, entrepreneurs, post-grad girls just like us looking for new friends, influencers, businesses, and other local groups. We started hosting shopping, happy hour, and other fun events that allowed all types of people and businesses to connect, and it continues to grow to this day! Connecting people and working with businesses is something I’m very passionate about, and I’m thrilled to not only help create but to be a part of such an impactful community in Music City.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not always a smooth road! When I moved here, I only knew very few people and did not have a ton of friends, family, or any connections or network to help me if I failed. I really put myself out there to create intentional friendships, and to create a network that has allowed me to grow in ways I never could have imagined. Through the power of social media, I was able to combat the struggle of not having new friends as I met new people, I was able to connect and network with other people who have similar interests to me, and I was able to create a supportive community that provides these same things for other people new to Nashville and searching for ways to adapt.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work for an advertising agency, I do everything and anything from traditional media, PR/Reputation Management, Digital, and Print advertising. I really love marketing and am passionate about working with businesses to growth through digital strategies. I love campaign management, and find myself thriving as an account manager. Whether businesses need help with SEO, a whole new website, or just to refresh branding, I’d love to connect and see what I can do to help.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Since founding Nashville Collective with my partner Madeline, I have grown in so many ways. I could not have done it without her help! Instead of waiting around for opportunities to arise, we chose to create them ourselves and I seriously could not imagine what it has grown into. It is so crazy what we have created in such a short amount of time, and am so thankful for her!
