Today we’d like to introduce you to Christin Suzanne Wurst

Hi Christin Suzanne, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised just outside of Atlanta, GA and in August of 2016, I moved up to Nashville, TN. This city has captured my heart. I love the small town feel, but with the opportunities of a big city!

In high school and college I explored a little bit with digital and film photography, but when real life hit and I needed money to pay bills, I sold my camera. It wasn’t until a few years later, here in Nashville, that my mentor, as well as another close friend of mine, spoke photography back into my life. Ever since then, I have had the dream to pursue it professionally, as Christin Suzanne Photography.

I fell in love with portrait photography because it is how you can communicate someone’s story and life through a single photograph. Photographs are snapshots of special moments in time. They invoke emotions, memories, and inspiration. They tell stories. I strive to capture raw emotion, authentic moments, and true personalities in every photo that I take. There is such beauty in being authentic and real.

In addition to photography, I have always dreamed of being an entrepreneur and helping businesses see their full potential. I’ve recently observed the challenges small businesses face in content creation, brand alignment, and proactive digital marketing. So, in response, I’ve launched another branch of my business, Christin Suzanne Creative, aimed at providing business owners with a seamless journey from vision to reality.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh gosh, it has been far from a smooth road or ride! I was recently telling a friend that I am not a fan of rollercoasters because of the constant ups and downs, and fast and then slow, and twists and turns. That is a perfect example of how starting my own business has been! For the photography side of my business, it has occasionally been “feast or famine” depending on the seasons. I’ve had to continuously adapt to retain clients, gain new clients, and provide an income for myself. Part of that adaptation recently has looked like launching Christin Suzanne Creative to bring in a new range of clients who need photos, content, as well as digital marketing (how to use that content they get).

I absolutely love it and wouldn’t change it for anything! I have grown personally so much through this process.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
By trade, I am a photographer. The areas that I specialize in are portraits, live events, and product photography. I view photography as a way to tell stories and to capture authentic moments/personalities. I’d have to say that one thing I am proud of is expanding my company to include creative design and digital marketing. I believe what sets me apart in this area is that I can help companies find and maintain their authentic brand by teasing out their purpose, mission, and values then help communicate them through professional photos and design. I love being able to string people’s stories through visual arts (such as photo, video or graphics), to branding, and then all the way through to the marketing. I am so blessed and grateful to be able to do this as a job!

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I find it incredibly rewarding when clients witness their vision becoming a reality, whether it’s through a successful photo session or an increase in customers from our digital marketing efforts. Seeing their dreams begin to materialize fills me with joy and fuels my passion for this work!

Also, on a personal note, playing with my pup makes me happy!
