Check Out CocoBay Ragni’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to CocoBay Ragni. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Wow, what a story we have, and there will probably be a book and movie about us!!! So, Bay Ragni & Coco Warbucks, became friends 7 years ago, when Bay who hosted a podcast called Totally Driven Radio, interviewed Coco’s sister about being on a reality show. Fast Forward 6 months later, Bay Interviews WeeWee & her Sister CoCo about their possible reality show in the works, and a friendship was born!! 

Fast Forward 5 years, Bay ends up winning a contest to come to Nashville for a Podcast convention, and Boom, that friendship turns into a relationship and we have the birth of CocoBay! 

Both Coco & Bay have wanted to be their own bosses, entrepreneurs, and do their own thing since both were young, which is another reason we make a great pair, we think alike in so many things and we have been working to turn 2 of our favorite passions into businesses. 

The first one we launched back when Bay first moved to Nashville to be with Coco is, “The Nashville Restaurant Review” where we take, one of our loves and passions, FOOD, and go to local Nashville Restaurants and do reviews, but we have gone from doing just written and picture reviews, to now video for our YouTube channel… Hmmm wait, could that be ANOTHER business!! Guess what it is, as we have now started doing Vendor events at local restaurants, with our next one being 12/19 at The Mainstay Restaurant in East Nashville. 

The Nashville Restaurant Review is both an Instagram & Facebook platform, in which not only are we doing the reviews, but we are building an army of Nashville Foodies along the way to share their love of Nashville eateries. 

What we also do is, to try to support the local Restaurant community as much as we can, Bay does Facebook Live & YouTube Live interviews with Local restaurant business owners, managers, chef, staff, etc. to help promote the local small businesses of Nashville. 

We also have done our first event recently, to celebrate 1000 followers on Instagram, and we are in the midst of putting together more events at a local establishment that supports the Nashville Foodie community!! 

Now, onto our other passion and day job so to say, reselling. We are like American Pickers, but we go to Garage Sales, Flea Markets, Estate Sales, and Thrift Stores and buy things to resell on platforms like eBay, Poshmark, Facebook, Mercari. 

Both of us, always enjoyed collecting, buying, shopping, and treasure hunting, so now we do it together for-profit and we also film all of it for YouTube as well!! 

We combine our 2 businesses and do YouTube episodes we call, “Pickin & Chewing” Where we take the viewer and our fans along for the ride to all the places we go thrifting and then we take you out to eat with us and get a bird’s eye view. 

We strap on a GoPro and use our phones to get all the footage. We literally get to spend almost 24 hours a day together, and wouldn’t have it any other way, and we can thank the pandemic for us deciding we wanted to make these are livelihood. 

We feel that we have been blessed with our dream jobs, with our dream partner! 

Which recently on our 2-year anniversary in August, Bay popped the Question to CoCo and she said YES!!! 

And that whole proposal event will be part of the book and the movie as well!!! Trust Us!! LOL 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Obstacles, wow, that is an understatement!!! 

We basically have experienced obstacles, hurdles, things trying to take us off track monthly, we literally have an outline of monthly things that happened to us through our first 18 months together, but we had our meltdowns and have gone into panic mode and then took a deep breath and figured ways to get ourselves back on track and on the path where we need to be to keep moving forward. 

Again, so much has happened to us, there is going to be a book to document all of this, because people’s heads will spin, and I’m sure 75% of the people would have given up!! 

But we both knew, this is meant to be, we are each other’s destinies.

Bay is a retired professional wrestler, best known as ECW Original Chubby Dudley, one of the original Dudley Brothers who went on to start his own wrestling company in the ’90s, Liberty All-Star Wrestling. He hosted Totally Driven Radio for 7 years, doing over 350 LIVE weekly episodes interviewing hundreds of celebrities in the world of entertainment, but his proudest moment was when he was voted the Top Radio Personality in Philadelphia for 2017, beating all the cities Terrestrial Radio Hosts, Bay is now host of “The Bay Ragni Show” as well as “The Nashville Restaurant Review Show” 

Coco was a singer/songwriter many moons ago, playing her way throughout NYC, in such places as CBGB. She eventually landed a development deal with Island/Def Jam. When her time in music was no longer satisfying her, she decided to try her hand at Stand-up Comedy. Coco has played many shows at Zanie’s as well as becoming a regular storyteller for the critically acclaimed comedy revue “That Time of the Month”. Coco is most proud of the popular web series she created with her sister, The Coco & Wee Wee Show. 

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
We take chances and risks because at this stage of the game of life, we have NOTHING to lose. We both have played it safe and held ourselves back in many things over the years, and there is no more time to do It that way. 

It’s now or never, life is too short and we are going for it and reaching for the stars every day!!! 

We have each other’s backs 110% and believe in each other and ourselves for the first time in our lives and every day we keep learning to better ourselves in our path of success.
