Check Out Esli Pino’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Esli Pino.

Hi Esli, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I’m Esli, and my wife and I run a pressure/soft washing and window cleaning business in Gallatin, TN. We’re a family of five, with Lily, Isaiah, and Elise being the youngest. Over the years, I’ve worked in various fields, starting as an apprentice in construction and later partnering with a general contractor. However, that was during the 2008-2011 recession. In 2011, I married my wonderful wife Ruth, and we decided to move to TN, where work was picking up. I initially worked for a local company doing roofing, then switched to finishing trim work, and later worked at a tire shop. After that, I worked with a local General contractor on many projects, including pressure washing. I then worked at Lee Company, then as a remodel specialist for an apartment complex before joining Publix Supermarkets as a Maintenance Coordinator for eight years. I started this business in 2023 after leaving that job. Some opportunities arose, and I invested in it full-time. Initially, we didn’t have all the equipment needed, but we managed to complete every opportunity and meet expectations. There were times when customers didn’t agree, but we always managed to make them happy, even if it meant stretching our budget. That has set us up for success, as we currently have 5-star ratings on Google and manage Pinnacle Bank’s cleaning service for pressure washing and window cleaning. Times are tough, and finding good help is even harder. We hope our business can help ease some of those challenges with smiles. We might not always be the cheapest, but we compensate with hard work, efficiency, and making customers feel like friends and giving them peace of mind. We don’t strive to become rich, but like everyone, we want some security. We want to offer the same to others, so people can know that their home maintenance is taken care of.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, I’ve had struggles through out the years, struggled financially for many years but my wife has been a rock and we have managed, opportunites has risen and other times I’ve had to create my own, such as opening this pressure washing business, you can say it was a leap of faith. Even after fully being established in the business some months have not been good financially, or equipment breaks down in worst of times, but being indsutruos has helped, especially coming from a background of family that has struggled. I remember my father being that way, finding ways to fix a problem that might not have many solutions, or one is limited to few options.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We pressure wash homes and businesses, we use different methods of washing, all dependent on what is needed, we use pressure when we need to remove stubborn growth or surface cleaning, and a method known as soft wash when the home materials call for it, such as roofs or vinyl siding. We also do window cleaning using RO (reverse osmosis) and DI (deionization) systems to clean exterior windows, also known as pure water. We are down to earth people and we have morals, we also understand that people aren’t instructed in how much you know about the trades but how much value you can bring to what they’re spending. Im always looking for ways to increase that value, while at the same time not underbdgiuet my family.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Persistence, patience and resilience.
