Check Out Joanna Beck’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joanna Beck.

Hi Joanna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was raised in a broken home, my biological father left when I was five. I witnessed the wrath of man and religion, instead of grace and love. For years, I felt invaluable, rejected, and unworthy because of people around pushing their trauma responses and side effects of addiction off on me. God has used every single thing I have experienced and witnessed in my life to propel me into the purpose He has for me.

I have served in several well-known ministries throughout the United States, taught Bible study at Oral Roberts nursing home along with several other nursing homes throughout Tulsa, Oklahoma before relocating here to Nashville. I ministered in Women’s and children’s ministry for years before the Lord released me to start my own ministry.

I now minister in several nations including Pakistan, India, Italy, and South Africa. I am equipping the next generation using leadership skills and coupling them with the strategic skills I have gained, I train and mentor people throughout the world mobilizing them for their plan and purpose.

Through my inspirational and dynamic bold teaching, I heavily emphasize making truths come alive and demonstrate how to put them into practice. My goal was to allow God to make every broken piece within me whole and to use me mightily and that He is.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to get to where I am today was not easy. I went through a time when I saw no physical sign of God’s love or purpose for my life.

He seemed so far away and all I could see was darkness. I realize now that even though I do not always feel God’s presence, it is still there. Even though I do not see His hand or hear His voice, He is still speaking and moving. Even when I felt abandoned and alone, His love was still there.

And even when He seemed hopelessly far away from me, He was still right there beside me, working every detail in my life for His purpose and my redemption. I look back now and can see the light that broke through the darkness, when the good prevailed, and that I was never alone. He was with me all along.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a minister, speaker, mentor, and clarity strategist, founder of Joanna Beck Ministries, Inc., The Freedom Meeting®, and Freedom University®. My goal is to empower others spiritually, personally, and professionally to walk in their purpose, identity, and potential.

I have helped women and men from all over the world through my ministry, meetings, and school find their purpose and walk in alignment with God. I target those in need of emotional and spiritual encouragement, by using a unique blend of education and experience.

I consistently challenge limiting belief systems and outdated theology through power-packed teachings.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice for finding a mentor is I feel a mentor should help you evaluate your current season of life and develop a strategy to move you into progression, productivity, and integrate custom tools that assist in exposing blind spots and hindrances to growth, custom solutions, and tools to address hindrances, remove them, bring clarity no longer feeling stuck, overwhelmed, overlooked, rejected, and moving you to the next level.
