Today we’d like to introduce you to Joselyn Hall

Hi Joselyn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am Joselyn “Jo Yvonne” Hall. I began acting at the age of six. I attended Nashville School of the Arts for Theatre. Graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Theatre performance. While in college, I created New Nashville Radio September of 2014 to share the talents and Creatives of Nashville, Tn. That grew into interviewing mainstream artists that we know today. Shortly after, I began working for three of the top radio stations while in college. During covid, I was a part of my first film with television credit that is currently being streamed on Tubi. I am currently shooting music videos and interviewing local events such as the Black Rodeo that is held annually around the United States showcasing riders ages five to eighty-five.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Although I have done a lot. I believe if I had a manager and a promotions team I could be further and more successful. It is difficult marketing to an audience that would rather watch your talents than be apart and help grow it. The saying goes, “they want to see you doing good, just not better than them”.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an actress, host, creative/ creative director, teacher, influencer, travel blogger, model, and “The Inspiration”. I am known for living a fun fast life. People are always surprised when they see me out and about in public. They say “Do you even work? I didn’t know you were in the city! and my favorite, Heyy Superstar!” I am most proud of having a movie on television. I truly get to brag different. However, I am very humble; which may be an unpopular belief. I believe if others had the same blessings as I do, they would be extremely happy as well. Knowing that others are inspired, it allows me to truly stand in my light and SHINE.

What matters most to you?
The truth. Truly being loved and seen for the good heart that I have. Poverty in Nashville is extremely prevalent, and I would love to help change that. Lack of education in marginalized communities is something that matters to me as well. Domestic violence is another issue I focus on with my brand Free Life. We must help save the lives of our women!
