Hi Julieta, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My love for music started in my hometown, Mexicali BC, Mexico, where I grew up surrounded by a rich mix of cultures and sounds. I began writing songs as a way to express myself and connect with my emotions. Initially, it was just a personal diary set to music, but as I started sharing my art, I found that there were people who connected with my words and melodies.

The decision to go professional with my music was a significant step and a path full of challenges. It has been an intense learning journey, navigating the music industry, collaborating with promoters, and refining my craft, all the while never losing sight of my true passion: creating music that speaks directly to people’s hearts.

2023 represents a significant milestone in my career. I’m releasing more than 30 songs and 7 music videos, an ambitious goal that reflects my commitment and dedication. It has been an exciting and not always easy-journey, but every step has led me to where I am today. I firmly believe that the key to success lies in authenticity, perseverance, and a love for what you do. And I love making music.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has certainly had its bumps and twists, as any journey in life does. The music industry can be demanding, and as a young artist, navigating it has been both a challenge and a learning experience. There were moments of doubt and obstacles along the way, but every challenge has taught me something valuable and helped me grow, not just as an artist, but as a person.

Yet, every struggle seems to fade away when I am on stage, sharing my music, and connecting with my audience. It’s in these moments that I am reminded of why I chose this path and why I love what I do. So, no, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but I believe the struggles are part of the journey and they only make the rewards even sweeter.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Hola! I’m a singer-songwriter straight out of the vibrant city of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. I turn heartbeats into beats and emotions into melodies. People know me for the authentic vibes and real emotions I pack into every tune. What makes me beam with pride?

Well, it’s the magical bond I form with my listeners through my music. What makes me different, you ask? It’s my secret recipe of authentic storytelling through song, mixed with a dash of unique Julieta experiences. Music is my playground, and I love every moment of it!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
First and foremost, I owe so much to God for always being my guiding light, providing strength and inspiration through every step of my journey. Secondly, I want to give a big shoutout to my husband. His unwavering support on this wild ride has been my rock. He’s my cheerleader, my confidant, my partner in every sense.

And of course, I can’t forget Levy Hurtado – my manager, producer, director, and promoter. Levy believed in me and my music from the get-go, and has been instrumental in getting me to where I am today. His faith in my talent and his dedication to helping me succeed has been invaluable. I truly can’t thank him enough for his role in my journey.
