Check Out Lindsay Phelps Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Phelps.

Hi Lindsay, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m the Owner and Founder of The Staff Curator. I began my staffing career in the yachting industry where I learned the value of luxury recruiting.

During that time in my career, I traveled the globe providing professional crew for my clients’ yachts. After six years of boarding yachts around the world, I sought to bring that same luxury recruitment style to my client’s homes. And thus, The Staff Curator was born.

Today, The Staff Curator provides Nashville and Franklin homes with highly skilled Estate Managers, Private Chefs, Housekeepers, Personal/Executive Assistants, In-home Teachers, Family Assistants, Childcare Professionals, and other integral home personnel. We recruit full-time, part-time, and freelance estate staff.

Clients of The Staff Curator work directly with me starting with initial consultation, candidate discussion, and interviews. I’m experienced, efficient, and excited to discuss your staffing needs!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Being a mother, wife, and entrepreneur has certainly not come without its challenges!

It’s a juggle, but worthwhile pursuit. I love what I do! Above all, I love seeing the transformation of my client’s homes after a successful placement.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The Staff Curator is a two-pronged business split between client and candidate relations.

I personally engage with every new client that is seeking new staff. Alongside that, I’ve established a database of local candidates who are looking for new positions. That way, for example, when a client is seeking a private chef, I’m ready to provide a list of available candidates.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I feel very proud to be a resident of Franklin, TN! The quintessential southern charm here really speaks to me. Not to mention, where else can you be friends with all of your neighbors and everyone you meet at the grocery store?
