Hi Logan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We have operated a charter hot air balloon ride business in the Middle Tennessee area for many years. We were organizing our own hot air balloon events and were renting inflatable bounce houses for those events. We were not very satisfied with the quality and service of the units we were renting so we decided to buy our own inflatables for our events. After doing so we set up TN Bounce House, LLC in order to rent these select units we had purchased for our own events. Seeing a need in the industry for a professional, reliable provider of quality inflatables we decided to continue purchasing and renting inflatables in the Middle Tennessee area with and emphasis on quality products and great customer service. Since 2018 we have grown to be one of the leading Inflatable/Bounce House companies in the Middle Tennessee area.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It is never a smooth road to starting a new business. We have had many challenges along the way. We have spent the last 3 years refining the service we provide to make our customers’ experience as smooth as possible. We provide an online booking platform that is easy to use and get your event booked. We keep the customers informed with updates as your event approaches and we do not have any hidden fees added on. The biggest struggle we have faced in the growth of TN Bounce House, LLC relates to route planning and scheduling. We are now working with Elite Extra’s last-mile delivery service to provide a smooth workflow as far as scheduling our delivery days.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We own and operate an inflatable bounce house rental business. We carry a wide range of inflatables from obstacle courses, slides, bounce houses, and interactive inflatables that can be used wet or dry. We make sure our customers have access to high-quality inflatables and replace them every few years to ensure they stay new. We’ve worked hard to ensure our customers get the best experience from start to finish. We feel that the platform we provide and our customer service set us apart from others.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
There is a risk with everything you do, especially with starting a new business. You have to look at all the challenges and be willing to work hard until you get it right and even then you have to keep learning and growing.
