Check Out Meghan Moloney, Kaitlyn McCabe And Marissa Seymour’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meghan Moloney, Kaitlyn McCabe And Marissa Seymour.

Hi Meghan Moloney, Kaitlyn McCabe and Marissa Seymour, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Our journey really started with a shared belief that beauty should feel empowering, flexible, and fun — not transactional. Between the three of us, we come from different corners of the industry: hair designing, makeup artistry, brand building, and marketing. We each saw the same gap from different angles — incredibly talented artists who were burned out by traditional salon models, and clients who wanted more than just a service. They wanted an experience.

Glam Up was born in Nashville from late-night conversations and a lot of ‘what if’ dreaming. What if hair and makeup came to you? What if artists were treated like the professionals they are? And what if glam felt like a moment — not a chore? We launched with on-demand hair and makeup at the core, showing up for brides, bachelorettes, corporate events, and major moments like the CMA Awards, always focused on delivering what we call the Pink Carpet Experience.

Today, we’ve grown into a trusted name in Nashville and beyond, with a team built on artistry, inclusivity, and community. What’s most exciting is that we’re still building — expanding our offerings, creating education opportunities for artists, and continuing to raise the glam bar while staying rooted in why we started: celebrating people, creating confidence, and making every client feel iconic.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road — and honestly, we don’t think it should be. Like most businesses built from the ground up, there was a lot of learning in real time. We launched in a fast-paced city, in a high-demand industry, while building systems, trust, and a brand all at once. Scaling an on-demand model meant figuring out logistics, artist availability, and quality control very quickly — sometimes the hard way.

One of our biggest challenges was growing while protecting our values. We were intentional about not expanding too fast or sacrificing the artist experience just to chase volume. Building a team we could trust, creating fair pay structures, and setting boundaries with clients took time and confidence. There were also moments where we had to pivot — refining our offerings, our messaging, and our processes as we learned what truly worked.

That said, every challenge sharpened the business. Those growing pains helped us build stronger systems, a healthier culture, and a clearer vision. Looking back, the obstacles weren’t setbacks — they were the reason we’re as solid, aligned, and intentional as we are today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At its core, we’re an on-demand hair and makeup company, but what we really do is create experiences. We specialize in bringing elevated, professional glam directly to people — whether that’s for weddings, bachelorette weekends, corporate events, photoshoots, or major moments like the CMA Awards. We’re known for reliability, versatility, and for making people feel confident, seen, and celebrated the moment we walk in the door.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to authenticity — both in beauty and in business. We’ve created a space where artists are encouraged to be creative, to express their true selves, and to feel valued as professionals, not just booked labor. That freedom shows up in the work. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all glam. We focus on elevating each person’s unique features, style, and energy, because beauty should enhance who you already are — not cover it up.

Ultimately, Glam Up is about changing the beauty industry from the inside out. We’re proving that you can build something successful, joyful, and artist-led — while still delivering a luxury experience that clients trust and come back for. We are proud that we are building the world we want to live in every single day.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that surprises people is that Glam Up didn’t start from lifelong friendships or a perfectly planned partnership. Kaitlyn and Marissa actually didn’t know each other at all before Glam Up — they met through conversations about wanting to change the beauty industry. It wasn’t history that built the company, it was alignment.

Another fun twist is that while we look like a fully glam, polished trio, Meghan is very much the ‘Kelly Cutrone’ of the group. She’s Kaitlyn’s cousin-in-law and comes from the industry side, but she’s often the least glam in the room. She relies on the Glam Up artists to help bring the sparkle when she needs to look the part, and she wears that dynamic proudly. It’s a reminder that Glam Up isn’t about perfection or constant polish — it’s about knowing your strengths and helping each other shine.

What ties all of that together is that Glam Up was built by people who came together not because it was easy or expected, but because we shared a vision. That mix of different backgrounds, energies, and perspectives is actually what gives the brand its soul — and why it works.
