Check Out Ned Cameron’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ned Cameron.

Hi Ned, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started off in Los Angeles where I was lucky enough to produce for Kid Ink. We did made really successful music like “Hell And Back” which I’m best known for. After that I worked a good amount with Machine Gun Kelly, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Migos, Sean Kingston, Jason Derulo.
About 6 years ago I moved to Nashville and took some time to learn and understand country. I linked up with Ashley Gorley a couple of years back, and it’s been off to the races. I just wrote one on Morgan Wallen’s album “Jack And Jill” with my good friends Jared Mullins and Jacob Hackworth.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I don’t know if any road is smooth, I struggled with a lot to be honest with you. I battled some addiction issues and was in a pretty horrible contract with Sony ATV for some years. One of those horror story MDRC deals you hear about. I’m grateful to be out of that and not dealing with them anymore. And I’m blessed to have learned what not to do in a lot of ways and still be here with another chance.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I produce and write songs.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My mom took me to see Ray Charles when I was like 6 or 7
