Check Out Nikki Lynn’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Lynn.

Hi Nikki, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up on a farm in a small town in Dover, Arkansas. Always surrounded by horses, music and creativity. My dad was musical, my mom had amazing style. She’s the one who got me into thrifting at such a young age and music was just a part of my every day life. I picked up guitar to play alongside my twin sister, Sam on the banjo and before long we were performing local shows. Which led to getting discovered by a producer who brought us out to LA and eventually landed us a deal with Warner Brothers.
We wrote music, toured and i started styling our stage looks – it was just another creative outlet for me! Traveling the world gave me so much inspiration, especially when it came to fashion. About 8 years ago, we moved to Nashville to dive deeper into songwriting and artistry. Since then, i’ve leaned into vintage fashion and wardrobe styling. It’s become a huge passion and the creative community here has been incredible.

As an Armenian woman in the creative space, I’m passionate about being a voice and influence for others who want to pursue music, style and storytelling in their own way!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey hasn’t been a smooth road. It’s definitely had its ups and downs. You’re not always going to get the answer you want and not everyone is going to believe in you. I’ve cold called for gigs many times and been turned down more than i can count. BUT i kept going! One door closes, another will eventually open.
I leaned on my family, prayed a lot (and i mean a lot), and reminded myself that it starts with believing in yourself and not giving up. Keep a kind heart.

Perseverance is everything! I’ve learned to just keep putting one foot in front of the other and trust that what’s meant for you will find its way. You will find your people too! It all just takes time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’ve been doing music full time – it’s my core passion and creative focus. But in the last year, I’ve also stepped into wardrobe styling, which has always been a part of me. I live and breathe it, even as a hobby. People know me for my music, but also for my bold sense of style because i don’t hold back and i don’t play it safe. It’s a way to express myself!
What sets me apart is that i bring the same energy from my music into fashion. So whether i’m on stage or styling someone, i approach it with authenticity, vision and purpose.
I love helping people express who they are and not holding back with it!

I’m most proud of how far i’ve come and the fact that i’m still pushing forward every day, even when i don’t feel like it. I’m becoming who i want to be and want to leave something behind that truly matters.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
That sometimes rejection isn’t the end. Think of it as redirection. If something isn’t working, reinvent yourself. Keep up the grind, don’t stop. Something will eventually stick!
Know that you have to trust God’s timing, too. Even if things don’t make sense, i’ve seen how it all can fall into place when they’re meant to be.

Also – Be kind and stay humble! Kindness and humility go a long way.
