Check Out Palmer Hubbell’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Palmer Hubbell. 

Hi Palmer, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hey! My name is Palmer Hubbell. I am 20 years old and I have been playing/producing music since my senior year of high school (about 3 1/2 years ago). I had never really touched instruments till then, let alone a DAW, but I basically got bit by the music bug and never looked back. After taking a gap year in New Zealand interning at a church, I moved to Nashville to go to school at lipscomb! 3 semesters later I dropped out and am now pursuing music full time! 🙂 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think it’s mostly just been a lot of fun. of course, moving here you’re surrounded by people that have been playing instruments since they were 4years old, so that part has always been a little intimidating being that I started everything just a few years ago. I think the hardest part of it all is not attaching your identity and worth to the amount of streams/likes you get. but most of all I’m just having fun and processing my emotions with music! 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I produce/perform/mix/master all my own music 🙂 it’s a super intimate experience for me and I really like being in the driver’s seat creatively. Because you can literally make anything you want. music to me is the purest form of personal expression. it’s so cool!!!

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I have moved 14 times in my life! and didn’t started anything music involved till I was 17 🙂
