Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Crowe

Hi Rachel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always wanted to be a singer or have a career with the arts somehow. I’ve been in and out of bands since I was 16 but have been with my Beardos (IYKYK) since 2016 that’s forever in band years. I bought my wedding business in 2017 (MY Tiny Wedding) where I started out as a ceremony musician and am now the photographer and sole owner. It’s my real girl job that keeps this expensive music habit going but is artsy fartsy enough to keep me happy:)

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Hell no, it’s not been an easy road. I’m a Blues singer in the middle of rural Eastern Kentucky……Bluegrass country but nothing easy is worth having. We have found our people and I’m so thankful for the support we have gained in the Bluegrass . What I do is not super traditional Blues I take a lot of influence from powerhouse female country singers from the 90’s and a dash of Sothern Rock and you get The Rachel Crowe Band

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am s blues musician and a photographer. The photography (mostly weddings) supports my music habit. I like to joke that no matter if it’s true love or heartbreak I have all of your emotional needs covered. I’m really proud of both my jobs and couldn’t fathom doing life any other way <3
