Check Out Samantha McCrary’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha McCrary.

Samantha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I was 6 years old my granny put her mother’s sewing machine in front of me and since then that’s all I ever wanted to do. It started my passion for clothes and seamstress work. I knew from that moment I had something special, no one taught me anything I have been self taught since I was 6 and ever year I improved to what I am now.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not, I’ve had a lot of people doubt me. Family and friends sometimes don’t see your vision like someone else would so trying to navigate through that and still be true to who you are has been difficult.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Along with selling clothes I’m a seamstress. I take it with pride because not a lot of people my age aren’t open to learning how to do things with their hands. I’m know for comfort athletic wear but what people don’t know is that I’m in the process to expand into all different styles. I want to cater to every shape and size and help women find their comfort in anything they put on. I’m all about making my guest feel good on the inside as well as the outside. Self confidence is key and if I can make at least someone happy with my service I’ve had a great day!

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was very quiet and outgoing. Everyone always knew of me around school but I kept to myself I was always very focused and determined. I grew up knowing what I wanted and always going after it no matter what. The same time I found my passion for clothes is the same time I found my love for modeling and cooking. Every day since I never changed what I wanted to.
