Check Out Stephanie Rinehart’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Rinehart.

Hi Stephanie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I originally studied Media and Communication Arts, but when the focus shifted from film to digital, I lost interest and took a break. Years later, one coworker suggested I check out a massage school in Madison, believing I’d do well. Massage therapy had always been a career I considered, especially since I wanted to help people and wasn’t interested in nursing due to a fear of needles. A few days later, my fiancé and I toured the school, and I enrolled.

Over the years, I’ve worked with and learned from many great Licensed Massage Therapists. I truly believe God had a plan for me to own and operate my own office. Kneading Deep Tissue has become everything I dreamed my business could be, and I’m grateful to have some amazing clients who made it possible.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Early in my career, it felt like every company I joined folded within a year forcing me on to the next. Eventually, several other LMTs and I collaborated to open Kneaded Relief Massage Studio.
Then, in December 2023, a tornado hit our building directly, forcing us apart. This is when I decided to go out on my own and opened Kneading Deep Tissue.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in deep tissue techniques and enjoy blending different modalities in each session. Whether it’s active or passive stretching or other therapeutic methods, I tailor my approach to help clients reach their wellness goals. I’m also an Advanced Certified Cupping Therapist with the International Cupping Therapy Association and a Certified Prenatal Massage Therapist through Baby Inc.

What makes you happy?
Spending quality, uninterrupted time with my husband and daughter is what truly makes me happy—and it’s even better when we’re at the beach.
