Today we’d like to introduce you to Walt Logan.
Hi Walt, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
It is a long windy one to end up where I am now. I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky. Graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2015, and moved to Nashville shortly after.
Shortly after, I used my degree to get into recruiting. After going through different struggles sometimes self-inflicted, I began to dive into the music. This is ironic because now everyone asked me if that’s why I moved here and it is the furthest thing from the truth. But I have begun to like it here.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nah as mentioned before, I hit some self-imposed roadblocks when I first moved here. Feeling like an untouchable kid mistakes happen and I’ve learned to grow from the many many struggles.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in audio engineering and recording. I am known for how patient I am with others and my creative out-of-the-box thinking.
I am most proud I have only been taking this seriously for about a year and have made more headway than I ever would have thought.
So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
Just staying genuine to me. Being authentic to who I am. I feel like that’s when you find your true passion. And tending to stray away from that leads me to trouble, lol.
