Community Highlights: Meet Adriane Jones of Queen Ave Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriane Jones.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
First, I would like to acknowledge how grateful I am for Voyage to be interested in my story and how I started Queen Ave Beauty.

In 2016, I became interested in lash extensions and decided to take a class in Atlanta, GA to obtain a certificate for lash extensions. After completing the class, I learned that in the state of TN you had to either have your cosmetology or esthetician license to practice the service

In January of 2017, I started attending Georgia Career Institute night classes because I worked full time and that is where I fell in love with the art of skincare. I knew upon graduation I wanted to open my own spa; I did not want to work under anyone due to the fact I was still working in a corporation under someone. After passing my state boards in 2018, with a mustard seed of faith I rented out a space and named her Queen Ave Beauty.

The name Queen came from my grandmother’s real name, Queen Ella Gause. I knew I wanted the name of my business to represent strength and she was the epitome of that. With no business loans, I worked two jobs to fully renovate the entire 600 sq ft space.

Opening fall of 2019, I create a space where all aspects of life are welcomed to a wonderful experience of skincare practices.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a new business owner and learning as I go, I face challenges in the business of beauty every day.

I’ve learned during the pandemic that content is everything!! So making sure social media content is made daily to obtain new clients and keep my current clients engaged and return for monthly facials.

The one thing I would say is if you want a successful business, even on the days you don’t feel encouraged or motivated still SHOW UP and give your best!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a professional licensed esthetician that’s experienced in corrective skin care services, such as facials, enzymes, chemical peels, facial & body contouring, waxing, and brow services.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t have a rule of luck… I do have a rule of prayer and that is to keep GOD first in everything you do!

  • Basic Facials start at $65.00
