Hi Asia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Asia King the CEO of The Scrub Deala, I am from Memphis, TN. A mother of four, one of which servers in the U.S Army. Attending Southern New Hampshire for my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration. I have worked in the medical field for over six years.

I noticed that my scrubs were in my opinion tasteless. They were so plain and boring. I hated wearing them and wanted something that was more comfortable and cute. So, I would go shopping for scrubs and notice that there weren’t many to choose from, plus I am plus size so that really cut my options short.

I have always wanted my own business but I wanted it to be meaningful. I decided to look into selling scrubs, I knew that this was something I could sell because I wear them and I know what I’m looking for when it comes to wearing scrubs. It took me a while to come up with the ideas and what I was going to make my focus for my business. It took a lot of dedication, hard work, and sleepless nights and come up with The Scrub Deala.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it took a lot of research, dedication, planning, money, and a sleepless night. The hardest struggle for me was thinking I would never be as big as any other scrub company.

The Scrub Deala is a scrub uniform store that offers cute, comfortable, classy, and affordable uniforms. We offer sizes small- 4XL. We could possibly expand our sizes if we see that those sizes are requested.

We are set aside from others because we offer cute plus-size scrubs. I am proud of my brand as a whole to be able to provide women with a work uniform that will enhance how we feel about what we wear to work. We offer scrubs for everyone not just those in the medical field.
