Today we’d like to introduce you to Caitlin Crow.
Hi Caitlin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi there! I’m delighted to be back and honored to share another chapter of my story with you. My path began in a small, charming beach town, Pensacola, Florida. I was a multi-passionate girl with big dreams, supportive parents, close friends, and an inner knowing that I was meant for something meaningful, even if I couldn’t quite define it yet. My mom was a model in her prime and my dad a singer-songwriter, so creativity was always organically woven into my world. I grew up watching my mom move through life with strength and grace, but also a real expressive spirit—she loved music, dance, fashion, and carried a kind of effortless vibe that always felt iconic to me. So naturally, I was full of drama and personality—always entertaining, dancing, singing, writing, or styling my outfit of the day. I’d show up fully as whoever I felt like being that day, even down to my hip leotard and jean skirt era at five years old.
As I got older, I modeled a bit and took some acting and dance classes, but like many of us in those formative years, I started to question my own enough-ness. Instead of pursuing the arts, I took a more “safe” route and studied another passion of mine, Public Relations, which led to my first job at the biggest radio station in my hometown. After a few years, I reached a turning point. I realized I didn’t want to live my life for others—or in my case, for the expectations I had placed on myself that were never even there in the first place. At 25, I saved up, packed my things, and moved to Nashville to start a new chapter.
Besides Florida, Nashville has always felt like home. My parents met here, and I also lived here growing up off and on, so returning felt deeply rooted for me. When I first arrived, I’ll be honest—I was a little lost. I worked in the service industry while trying to network and figure out what was next. My original goal was to land in a big music label, PR agency, or become a radio personality in some form, but everything shifted when I finally allowed myself to do the scary thing I had been avoiding for years: study acting. The moment I stepped into acting class, everything clicked. I felt a freedom and and internal clarity I had been craving for a long time. It wasn’t just something I liked—it felt like something I had been missing. I finally felt like I was stepping into who I was meant to be.
From there, I worked really hard for years honing my craft and learning the industry, and I still am to this day. My focus shifted to how I could support myself financially in a way that aligned with this dream. Acting, as it turns out, is not exactly the most linear or inexpensive path, so I tried to do things the traditional way, applying for job after job in PR and social media. After repeated rejection and disappointment, I had a realization: maybe I’m not meant to work for someone else, and that’s why none of these opportunities are working out. Maybe I’m meant to build something of my own. Maybe I AM the brand. That moment changed everything. I sat down one night and wrote out all of my passions and how they could potentially become something lucrative and sustainable. I stopped trying to fit into one lane and started building my own.
I’ve always said I wanted a life created on my own terms. I never liked being placed in a box or reduced to one identity or niche. No. I am everything, all at once – and I think we all are, if we allow ourselves to be. Now, as a multi-passionate creative and entrepreneur, I’ve fully stepped into the truth of who I am by honoring that path—no longer forcing my way into rooms I wasn’t meant to be in for the sake of conformity. I am an actor, model, social media coordinator, UGC/content creator, and travel curator – all in the same breath. I feel deeply grateful to be building a life that allows me to express all of these parts of myself. If there’s one thing I’m most proud of, it’s that the little girl I once was would recognize herself in the person I’ve become.
I am a firm believer that when you stand in your authenticity and allow your passions to guide you, no matter how many you have, you can create your dream life. We are all the writers and directors of our own story – and I believe we each have the ability to create a masterpiece.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Ha. Are you kidding? I’m a creative-struggle is part of the terrain. I’ve experienced it in almost every form: financially, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. And I don’t know a single actor or creative who hasn’t reached that point of questioning everything, asking “What am I doing?” only to try to walk away and somehow find themselves circling back to their calling anyway. There have been times I’ve wondered what life would look like if I took a more conventional path, but it never quite resonates. It feels like I’d be living at half capacity—always craving something more. I can’t see myself doing anything else, and that’s how I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, even when it’s hard.
My biggest obstacle—and honestly my biggest triumph—has been getting to know myself on a deeper level. That process has fueled my creativity, clarity, and drive more than anything else. The last few years have involved a lot of inner work: breaking cycles, unlearning old patterns, healing trauma, and reconnecting with my inner child. It’s been some of the most challenging work I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding. It’s made me a better actor, communicator, friend, businesswoman, and creator.
With a bit of a wild spirit, I’ve always moved through life in my own way. I’ve never fully felt like I fit in one place, or into one version of myself. A little over a year ago, I discovered Human Design, and it helped me make sense of that in a way I hadn’t been able to before. I’m a 4/6 Reflector—the rarest out of the five types, making up only about 1% of the population – ONE PERCENT – and learning that gave language to something I had always felt but couldn’t explain. It felt like finally finding the missing piece of a puzzle I had been trying to solve my entire life.
Reflectors are deeply sensitive to their environments and the people around them. We mirror energy, we move with the cycles of the moon, and we’re constantly evolving based on what we’re surrounded by. Understanding that changed everything for me. It helped me realize that I’m not meant to be fixed or defined in one way—I’m meant to flow. It also made it very clear that my environment matters deeply, and that the spaces and people I choose can either support me or pull me out of alignment.
That shift in perspective allowed me to stop seeing myself as “too different” and start seeing myself as simply designed differently. Once I processed that, something unlocked within me. I began to honor my needs, trust my rhythm, and build a deeper relationship with my higher self. I feel more at home within myself than I ever have.
If you’re not familiar with Human Design, I genuinely encourage you to look it up and explore your own type. I will never EVER shut up about HD. It feels like a kind of cheat code to life, I swear, it allows you to feel seen in a way that’s incredibly specific and personal. It can also offer really interesting insight into relationship dynamics with friends, partners, co-workers, and even your own children. It’s endlessly fascinating to me, and as you can probably tell, it’s become another passion of mine – one I could very well see evolving into a future path in some form.
More than anything, I’ve been told I have a very esoteric way of thinking. I unapologetically romanticize life and would describe myself as a bit of a whimsy alchemist—someone who transforms challenges and obstacles into gold. I believe GUS (God, Universe, Source) is always guiding and protecting us, and that we’re here to experience life’s delicious magic and abundance. For me, the quickest way to access that abundance is through alignment—staying connected to myself, trusting my intuition, and maintaining a high vibration that makes me magnetic to the opportunities, people, and experiences meant for me. I believe we already possess everything we need within us to create the lives we desire.
My ultimate goal is to become so embodied and honed into my own power that I serve as a walking permission slip for others—someone who inspires and reminds people of the power that already exists within them. An invitation to explore what’s possible when we trust ourselves, honor what feels real, and fully embrace who we are.
If my journey serves as a catalyst for even one person to return to themselves and what they’ve always been capable of, then I’ve done something meaningful. Every challenge I’ve faced became part of the alchemy. They didn’t stand in the way of that purpose—they forged it. They made me her.
We’ve been impressed with WildLuxe Travel , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
If you haven’t gathered by now, I am a multi-faceted creator and entrepreneur. While I wear many hats, two areas of business have been especially exciting for me lately, travel and UGC creation.
Travel has always been one of my greatest passions. Earlier, I said I sat down one night and wrote out all of the things that genuinely lit me up and challenged myself to find ways to build a life around them. Travel was at the top of that list. Today, I’m fortunate to have turned that passion into a business that allows me to help others create unforgettable experiences while also creating autonomy in my own life.
Through my travel business, WildLuxe Travel, I curate and book travel for clients at no additional booking cost, while earning commission through my partnerships. I also mentor others who are interested in building a home-based travel business of their own, creating opportunities for leverage and residual income. While this venture is still in its early stages, what excites me most is the freedom it provides. It is a business I can grow on my own terms, from anywhere in the world, while helping others create memories that last a lifetime.
My second venture is UGC creation, which stands for User-Generated Content. While many people may not recognize the term, they’ve undoubtedly seen it. UGC is the content created by real people that brands use to connect more personally with their audiences across social media and digital advertising. For me, UGC felt like a natural extension of my background in acting, modeling, content creation, and video editing. Brands today are looking for relatable faces, honest storytelling, and creators who can bring products to life in a way that feels genuine and engaging. My experience in front of the camera allows me to do exactly that.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend creativity with strategy. Whether I’m creating content, booking travel, acting on set, or building a business, my focus is always the same – creating impactful experiences and genuine connections. I’m proud to have built a brand that isn’t confined to one lane, but instead reflects the many passions that make up who I am.
Ultimately, every business venture I pursue is rooted in the same mission: creating a life that feels as good as it looks and inspiring others to do the same. If my work can help someone explore a new destination, grow a business of their own, or connect with a brand in a meaningful way, then I consider that a success.
If there’s one thing I’d love readers to take away, it’s that the life you want may be closer than you think. And if travel happens to be part of that vision, I’d be honored to help you get there.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
One thing about me is that I absolutely love personal development and expanding my mind, so there are a few books and podcasts that have had a profound impact on me.
One book I recommend to literally everyone, woman or man, is Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. I’ve read it multiple times, and it has left a lasting mark on me. It’s my go-to whenever I need a reminder of who I am and what I’m made of—and honestly, that I’m that girl. As women, we are incredibly powerful, intuitive, and resilient—sometimes we just need a little help remembering. Through its folklore and storytelling, the book reflects the idea that our ancestors are always with us, quietly guiding us if we’re willing to listen. Another life-changing read for me was The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. It completely shifted the way I think about presence and the beauty of the current moment. As the romantic I am, I also have a deep love for poetry, and my ultimate comfort book will always be The Great Gatsby.
When it comes to podcasts, my tastes are a little all over the place. The two I never miss are The Florence Given Show and EXPANDED Podcast by TBM. Both consistently inspire self-reflection, growth, and deeper understanding. I just love Florence Given’s approach to life and the way she champions the belief that living boldly and audaciously is our birthright. She always says, “Making people say, ‘Who does she think she is?’ is the point, babes.” That sentiment has stayed with me because I think so many of us women spend our lives trying to shrink ourselves to make other people comfortable, when we’re actually meant to move through the world without dimming ourselves. A few others I enjoy are SmartLess, hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett; Morbid with Ash Kelley and Alaina Urquhart; and Life’s a Joke with Christina Kirkman.
At the end of the day, I’m always drawn to things that help me see both the world—and myself—through a new lens.
