Hi Cathy , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my career in the radio industry, where most people typically transition into PR and marketing—and that’s exactly how my path shifted. About 14 years ago, I started doing PR for friends and family, and now my business is entirely referral-based.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The hardest part is always at the beginning when you take a leap of faith to start a new business. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to ease some of those struggles by being blessed with 100% referrals.

We’ve been impressed with Cathy Cardenas PR, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I take pride in delivering the best results for my clients. My goal is to help their businesses or brands succeed, and that brings me immense joy. I’m known for making things happen that others can’t—some even call me a magician. I’m proud to have built a reputation for credibility and excellence in my work. Putting my name behind a business is a risk I take, but it’s one I’m willing to embrace.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
There are several faith-based podcasts I listen to that inspire me on tough days. Putting God first in my business has always been my biggest source of strength and guidance.
