Today we’d like to introduce you to Damian Brezinski, MD, FACC.

Hi Damian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I am president of Keep The Beat Alive; We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to cutting cardiac death in touring professionals. We provide CPR certification and first aid training to the largest tours in the world.

Our clients include Kenny Chesney, Def Leppard, Sting, Peter Gabriel, and a host of others. You can learn about us at www.keepthebeatalive.org.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We started in 2008 and have steadily grown ever since.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit. We are dedicated to cutting the risk of cardiac death in touring professionals.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Early recognition and intervention of a cardiac event can help save a life.
