Hi Jackee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Before moving to Nashville, I lived and worked in the heart of Manhattan most of my life. I was in corporate SEC financial reporting as a CPA and MBA in publicly traded investment banking, infrastructure, fashion, airline and restaurant industries to name a few. It was a life of constant urgencies, late nights, gym sessions, “healthy eating”. All appeared highly desirable on paper and on the external.
This is where and when I became severely ill and received multiple diagnoses, some deemed incurable.
Having read Spontanesou Healing and coming across Dr Kelly Turner’s work on Radical Remission inspired me to not give up. After changing many physicians and doing my own research, it was acupuncture, meditation (advised by an amazing NY MD), diet/lifestyle changes that reversed all the diagnoses.
It inspired me to become a happily practicing Dr of Acupuncture.
I’m still a CPA, only selectively serving wellness pros who make a difference in the world
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a winding journey with challenges worth overcoming. On the other side of each overcoming lies a sense of victory that a smooth journey would not have been able to deliver. Each transformation anchors in an additional layer of self-empowerment and the knowing that if THIS happens again, I’ve got this! Some of the challenges were – standing in my truth no matter what, e.g., not get distracted by draining connections with a fulltime corporate career and attaining additional degrees in acupuncture in NY, disengaging with drinking buddies who get together to commiserate regularly. Knowing that the ultimate mission was not just about me (survival mode) and to make a difference on a broader level
There were other challenges, such as relational, constant filing due dates, navigating sometime egotistical corporate terrain, unforeseen external circumstances, etc. Each challenge reminded me to look in the mirror and explore from a different angle and lense. It’s also a reminder a rpoblem cannot be solved from where it’s created. Was this a famouse quote from some scientist?
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about QiNova Acupuncture?
Through acupuncture, nutrition, lifestyle shifts, and powerful mindset tools like nervous system regulation, commitment and ownership, she was able to reverse “incurable” health challenges.
Driven by gratitude, curiosity and a sense of service, Dr. Shu received her doctorate in acupuncture at Pacific College of Health and Science in New York, completing over 3,000 hours of rigorous training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, biosciences, orthopedics, gynecology, dermatology, and psychology.
In August 2024, Dr. Jackee was accepted into the prestigious Health Care Practitioner Program with the Inner Health Coalition (IHC), led by Dr. Joe Dispenza and his research team. After completing the program and as a member of the coalition, Dr. Jackee received advanced training from Dr. Dispenza to integrate four meditation practices into therapeutic protocols, as a certified facilitator of the Back to Balance Meditation Series, further enhancing wellness outcomes for both patients and clients. As a Doctor of Acupuncture licensed in New York, New Jersey, and now Tennessee, Dr. Jackee firmly believes that with the right information, tools, guidance, actions, and your body’s innate wisdom, thriving healthily is possible.
She honors bioindividuality, inherent constitution and customizes her approach unique to each person.
What matters most to you?
I honor bioindividuality, inherent constitution and customize approaches unique to each person.
Its key to understand how each symptom weave together and affects the whole person. When given the time, attention and a plan, we can set ourselves up for success using the body’s natural resource and reaclibration of daily habits.
