Community Highlights: Meet Jeannette Ahmardakno of Au Mon Dieu Boutique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeannette Ahmardakno.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As we are all familiar with, 2020 has been a difficult year for all of us.

I graduated college and while I am in the process of getting a career in the finance field, the pandemic started. All my plans got postponed. I spent all year trying to figure out new plans. The year has passed by and at the end of it, December 2020 I was diagnosed with COVID-19 and I had to quarantine for 30 days.

During that time, I decided to open my own boutique. I’ve always dreamt to be my own boss and build my own fashion company. I love fashion and shopping, and I have a finance degree so I can manage my own business and take smart business decisions. I did a lot of research and I decided to start my own business.

With a lot of dedication and hard work, every day was a learning experience for me but I have achieved so much and here I am today, far far away from where I started and closer to where I wanna be.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road. Very bumpy road as I would say.

Being organized and finding time was my biggest obstacle. Juggling all the tasks at once wasn’t easy until I found my balance. Learning all the social media and marketing tricks took a lot too.

Au Mon Dieu Boutique is an online women’s fashion boutique launched on May 1st,2021. The boutique’s mission is to inspire, embrace and empower all the babes out there.

The boutique’s goal is to connect, engage and build a relationship with our customers. “MAKE YOUR DREAMS A REALITY “

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Working hard pays off. And accepting the fact that I can’t do everything by myself and asking for the help of professionals such as (accountants, photographers, models, etc.).
