Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Aydin.
Hi Jessica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Absolutely, my journey started back in 2021. I graduated NYIB and decided I wanted to go solo as an esthetician. That’s exactly what I did. The journey has been challenging but also very rewarding. In the process of building my business I realized I wanted to know more about acne. I grow a passion for it.
As a person that dealt with cystic back acne in my late 20’s, that experience led me down a path of deep curiosity and passion for skin health. Plus as a women that was diagnosed with PCOS since I was 21, it also lead me down a path to holistic care.
Now, I specialize in treating acne and hyperpigmentation, with a holistic approach. I help people who feel overwhelmed and defeated by their skin finally see results and feel empowered again. I opened my own studio in Murfreesboro, TN, and I’m honored every day to guide people on their skincare journey with both compassion and real education.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I believe the bumps have shaped me into the person I am today.
My biggest challenge was, starting over in a new city, new state and rebuilding my business from the ground up was another challenge. No clients, no local connections just a lot of passion, persistence, and faith that I was meant to do this work.
But through it all, I’ve learned that people don’t just need clear skin they need someone who gets it. Someone who will listen, educate, and walk with them. And those struggles.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Aydin Aesthetics?
With four years of experience as a licensed esthetician, I specialize in acne care through a holistic approach. I consider a variety of factors, including lifestyle, diet, hormones, and skincare products, to address the unique needs of my clients. My practice is dedicated to treating acne and hyperpigmentation, focusing on non-invasive and straightforward treatments that effectively target these issues. I offer customized treatment plans tailored to each individual, recognizing that acne varies from person to person.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The most important quality that’s contributed to my success is genuine empathy. I don’t just treat skin, I like to connect with the person behind it. I know how it feels to be frustrated, insecure, and overwhelmed, because I’ve lived it. That understanding drives how I educate, support, and show up for every single client.
People can sense when you truly care, and that kind of energy builds trust and results. Of course, knowledge and skill matter, but compassion is what turns a service into an experience that changes lives.
