Hi Joanna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
EBTC formally came together mid-2023, but the groundwork had been laid in our years of experience working on teams together in different treatment settings. We all shared one goal – providing science-backed, research driven, high quality care to individuals and their families. We started with a few clinicians and have steadily grown the team – carefully choosing teammates with the same passion for helping children, adolescents, adults and families build lives worth living. We expanded from our Northern Virginia roots to other areas in order to meet the growing demand for access to mental health care.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Given the uncertainty in the economy, it has been a challenge to help folks access the quality care that they need outside of the insurance market. We commit ourselves to helping folks find ways to make the investment in the care they need.
