Community Highlights: Meet Julie Edmunds of Eagle Creek Real Estate, Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Edmunds.

Hi Julie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
For 32 years, I had the privilege of being a teacher in MNPS. Every day was about guiding, encouraging, and helping others reach their goals.
When I retired from the classroom, I realized I still wanted to help people. I found that in real estate. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions a person or family will make. I saw an opportunity to continue serving others.
My background in education taught me how to listen carefully, explain information clearly, advocate for others, and stay committed even when the process feels overwhelming. Those skills translate seamlessly into real estate, where guidance, honesty, and support truly matter.
Whether you are a first-time home buyer, family relocating, or clients preparing for a new chapter, my goal remains the same as it was in the classroom-to educate, empower, and help others succeed.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a teacher for 32yrs. and having a service-oriented mindset made the transition seamless.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I opened the firm in September 2025 with John Carpenter (Broker). We specialize in residential, land, and commercial sales. We also have a property management division. At Eagle Creek Real Estate, INC., we believe real estate should work for clients and agents alike, not corporate overhead. We’re not built for volume; we’re built for quality, experience, and long-term success. Just smart real estate done the right way.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
We like the recent historical growth in the area and the revitalization of the Lebanon Square. We absolutely love Lebanon and haven’t found anything that we do not like.
