Hi Leah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I created Leah Bajea’s Desserts while in college in 2017. My cousin and I took a decorating class that summer and I fell in love with “dessert artwork”! Since then, I have moved several times and kept this business close by. I love getting to make customer’s visions come to life!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes and no. I’ve been fortunate for this skill to come easily to me. With several moves, it has been difficult to balance life and a small business, but it has been worth it! There have been times along the way that I’ve incorporated menu options that made it more stressful than I like in a hobby. As of now, my main focus is cookies!

I specialize in custom decorated cookies! I am in the process of adding “deluxe” cookies to my menu, but for now, decorated cookies are what I’m best at. What sets me apart from others is the usage of clean ingredients and maintaining a reasonable price! I am able to ship cookies across the US, and I market on Etsy to make that process easier!
