Community Highlights: Meet Michael Paderewski

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Paderewski.

Hi Michael, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have a background in business and art history, and after spending some years guiding fly fishing out west, I decided to blend my two passions with a sporting art gallery. The first location was in Atlanta. Since then, I’ve expanded to the Beaver Creek, Colorado market, along with Nashville, and in 2013 I moved the Atlanta gallery to Charleston, SC.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I feel very lucky to say it has been a fairly smooth road. I credit this with the support of the dedicated and supportive clients, many of whom have become good friends, along with our wonderful stable of artists, many of whom we have represented for over 20 years. I am also always seeking new and fresh talent to offer the highest quality and most diverse collection possible.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Paderewski Fine Art & The Sportsman’s Gallery Ltd.?
We are a multi-location fine art gallery specializing in fine American, sporting, and western art. We represent some of the finest living artists in their field, as well as broker deceased masters from around the country. Our experienced, knowledgeable and friendly staff set us apart from the few other galleries that specialize in the same genres. We are most proud of the relationships we have built with so many dedicated collectors who have put their faith in us to help build and enhance their collections over the years.

Each gallery has a focus on American, sporting, and wildlife subjects while also offering specific regional specialties for each location.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Many people are surprised to learn that I do not create any of the artwork to which I often reply I have a better eye than hand!
