Community Highlights: Meet Seth Packan of Podunk Perspective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Seth Packan.

Seth , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name’s Seth Packan, and I’m the host of the Podunk Perspective Podcast. Originally from the small town of Romeo, Michigan, I made the move to Nashville over three years ago. I’ve been a diehard country music fan since I was a kid. My parents, Lisa and Patrick, always had music playing in the car—artists like Kid Rock, Sugarland, Kenny Chesney, and more. That’s where my love for country music first took root.

Back in middle and high school, when I wasn’t at football practice or causing trouble with my back home buddies, I was digging through YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, TikTok, and even Vine to discover new artists. I became a fan of folks like Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and Kane Brown way before they blew up.

Fast-forward to college—I was wrapping up my second year and knew Nashville was where I needed to be, even if I wasn’t sure what that would look like. My first goal after moving was simple: meet people, build friendships, make connections, and soak up everything I could about the music scene.

After a few years of settling in and getting my feet wet, I launched Podunk Perspective in early 2025. What started as just a podcast has quickly grown into a full-blown lifestyle brand. The heart of the brand? Keeping things real, raw, and unfiltered.

People are tired of the polished, fake social media lifestyle. Nashville is a big city filled with a bunch of small town people. Whether you’re a musician, a content creator, or just someone grinding behind the scenes in the music world, I’m here to help you tell your story—authentically. Because at the end of the day, no matter where you’re from or how big your platform is, everyone’s craving a return to something real. Something rooted. Something country, Something Podunk.

So crack open a beer, light one up if that’s your thing, and come hang out with Podunk Perspective. You never know who’s going to stop by or what you’re going to hear—but I promise, it’ll be real. If you don’t already have it, you might get the Podunk Perspective.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve gotten some unbelievable support through my Nashville community and truly cannot wait and see where this brand/podcast goes

We’ve been impressed with Podunk Perspective , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
