Community Highlights: Meet Smokey Hendrixx of Amerikas Most Wanted Productions (AMW)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Smokey Hendrixx

Hi Smokey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all started in 2019-2020 a year out of graduate school and Covid pandemic had just begun. I was prepared to go take a certification test to become an nfl agent and the whole world went on pause. Trying to figure out what to do, I told my homie DJ Chill that it’s time to take it all the way full time grind on the production. Ever since then it’s only been going up from there.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting off of course you are working to get your name out there and at the same time getting better at creating productions. Did free betas for a minute and finally decided to create my own albums. I hated waiting on artist to drop so I created my own albums with the artist I wanted to work with. Long nights in the lab with just a hour nap but it is all worth is at the end. I Lost some talented artist while doing this and that is what makes me go so hard til this day.

Amerikas Most Wanted Productions is a group of creatives that we have known each other for 10+ years all from Nashville, Tn. We consist of me (Smokey), DJ Chill, Nokio Beats, Cash Counta, Jetlee Beats, & Scott Gallian. We are one of few production groups in Nashville and cater to inner city artist and out of town artist. We perform community service around the Nashville area. We offer services for artist who want to upgrade there sound and can tailor to there own sound, we offer opportunities for artist to be apart of projects that we orchestrate to bring new audiences or fans to the different artist we have on these projects, and connections in the music business.

What matters most to you?
Only thing that matters and mattered since I started being a producer is to bring notariety and the spotlight to my city. I love Nashville and we have so much talent in not just country but rap, RnB, and soul that the world needs to see and hear. Nashville is still developing but has the potential to be a new stepping stone for all genres of music and my purpose is to expose that.
