Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Prutianov.
Hi Tiffany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story really began when I was working a job I had absolutely no passion for, yet I knew deep down I was meant to do something that made people feel better about themselves. I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics- the mix of science, artistry, and confidence it can create and one day I decided to stop thinking about it and take action.
I literally printed a list of every medical spa, dermatologist, and plastic surgeon in Nashville and the surrounding area. I spent days personally walking into each one — shaking hands, asking questions, and introducing myself. I didn’t have a license yet, but I had the drive to learn and a clear goal: to find a practice where I could grow, add value, and build a career.
In 2016, I walked into a SKN Physiques in Franklin TN (now Nashville Skin Company) and the staff immediately stood out. They were warm, kind, and genuinely passionate. They invited me to their open house, where I made it a point to connect with every single person there, including the then-owner and CFO. I explained that I was about to start esthetics school and wanted to find a place that would allow me to learn and contribute while I trained.
Just three weeks after starting school, I got the call. I was offered a position at SKN Physiques medical spa. I worked part-time while in school, soaking up every ounce of knowledge I could, and transitioned to full-time as soon as I was licensed. Within my first year, I was performing laser treatments, CoolSculpting, and advanced facial procedures. Shortly after my one-year anniversary, I was promoted into management — overseeing two locations and helping refine systems, operations, and client experience.
Fast-forward nine years, and my role has evolved into full-scale operations, management, and marketing. Our industry doesn’t often use titles like “CEO” or “COO,” but if it did, that’s likely what my position would resemble. I’ve been beyond fortunate to work alongside our owners, Dr. Sean Silvernagel and Mary Beth Silvernagel- incredible leaders who have trusted me with their business and encouraged my growth every step of the way.
It’s been a journey built on persistence, passion, and purpose — one that started with a printed list and a lot of handshakes, and has grown into a career I’m deeply proud of.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I honestly feel like my journey has been very unique and one I haven’t really heard anyone else experience in quite the same way. Of course, there have been a few bumps along the road, but overall, I’m so grateful that the path has been steady and full of growth.
Like anyone in leadership, I’ve faced challenges that come with making decisions for both the business and the people within it. Balancing what’s best for the team, the client experience, and the overall health of the company isn’t always easy but it’s where I’ve learned the most.
What I’m most thankful for is the consistency of being with one company throughout my entire career. I truly believe that’s a rare gift. I give all the praise to God for His hand in my journey and for the incredible opportunities and trust that Nashville Skin Company has poured into me over the years.
As you know, we’re big fans of Nashville Skin Company. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Nashville Skin Company has been part of the Nashville community since 2013, making us one of the longest-standing medical spas in the area and that’s something we’re really proud of. Over the years, our practice has become known for creating natural, lasting results and providing an experience that’s rooted in education, trust, and genuine care.
Our philosophy is simple: your results and your experience are everything. We truly believe that when clients are educated, empowered, and understood, they achieve the best outcomes- not just aesthetically, but in their overall confidence and skin health. That’s why every single consultation we offer is free. It’s our way of giving clients the chance to sit down, ask questions, and feel heard before ever making a commitment. We take the time to learn about lifestyle, goals, and even gut health because great skin is never just surface-level.
We specialize in advanced laser and skin-tightening treatments, particularly Ultherapy, Sciton BBL, and Halo Laser Resurfacing, which are some of the most powerful technologies available for collagen stimulation, tone correction, and texture refinement. Our lead laser technician has worked with our Sciton laser for over eight years. A level of expertise that I have noticed is more rare in this industry and something our clients deeply benefit from.
We’re also passionate about regenerative treatments like PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and biostimulators, which help the skin rebuild itself naturally.
Our team is small but mighty. We operate like a family, and that energy is felt the moment someone walks through our doors. We’re proud to say we’ll always guide clients in the right direction even if that means referring them elsewhere. Integrity has been our foundation from the beginning, and we’ll never compromise that.
At Nashville Skin Company, we’re not just here to perform treatments. We’re here to educate, uplift, and walk alongside our clients in their journey to healthy, confident skin.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
This is such a fun question — I love answering it because it always catches people off guard!
The first thing that usually surprises people is that I have a 14-year-old son. Most clients assume I’m much younger, and I always laugh and give full credit to the incredible treatments we offer at Nashville Skin Company! It’s a true testament to practicing what we preach when it comes to skin health and prevention.
The second is that outside of the med spa world, I’ve developed a huge love for adventure. I camp, dirt bike, ride motorcycles, and even go spearfishing. I’m currently planning to learn how to sail next, which feels like the perfect new challenge. I owe a lot of this adventurous side to my incredible fiancé, who’s helped me embrace experiences that push me outside my comfort zone and make life so much richer.
