Hi Vee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been a coffee person. Before anything else in my day made sense, that first cup of coffee did. I even picked up a part-time job at Dunkin’, eventually working my way up to a lead. During that time, I tried every type of coffee you can imagine—different roasts, different blends, wild flavor combos, you name it. Being behind that counter taught me how much creativity actually goes into a simple cup.
When I left Dunkin’, I still had that urge to experiment. So I started making coffee content—just me in my kitchen, mixing up different coffees with different syrups, flavors, and styles. People liked it, and I realized I wasn’t just making drinks… I was creating flavors.
That’s when I started playing around with homemade coffee creamers. It started as something small: mixing things I liked, figuring out what worked and what didn’t. But the more I made, the more people asked for recipes, tips, or their own custom flavor ideas. Before I knew it, I wasn’t just making coffee—I was developing something that felt like my own brand.
That’s when BaristaVee was born.
Now, I focus on crafting my own coffee creamers from scratch and showing people how to bring café-level flavor into their own kitchens. It’s simple, it’s creative, and it’s a part of who I am: someone who loves coffee and loves sharing it with others.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No it hasn’t been smooth at all, but I expected that. Anything you first start it’s always going to take time. Once you do start getting things going don’t let up
As you know, we’re big fans of BaristaVee. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
BaristaVee is my homemade coffee-creamer brand, built from my years of working with coffee and experimenting with flavors at home. I create small-batch creamers made with simple ingredients and package them in reusable containers to keep the process eco-friendly. BaristaVee is about bringing smooth, custom flavor to everyday coffee while keeping sustainability in mind.
What helps my brand stand out is that I’m the only one in my city doing homemade coffee creamers, dairy and non-dairy.
The flavors I create, I make them from scratch with real ingredients so there’s no artificial taste.
What I’m most proud about my brand is that I created something I love to do, nothing that was forced.
My brand offers and creates the product to the customers Identity. What I mean by that is, whatever grade of coffee they like to drink the creamer will blend well with that specific grade.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I can’t really say any of those things help me with my brand but I do use ChatGPT for suggestions on creating flavors so I can switch up the menu I provide.
