Conversations with April Escobar

Today we’d like to introduce you to April Escobar.

Hi April, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my YouTube channel 3 years ago when my family moved from California to Nashville. My son was only 4 months old and I wanted our friends/family to watch him grow up. I never thought that it would grow into what it is today. Moving from California to Nashville was the best decision for our family but, so hard to leave loved ones.

Since moving, we have had quite a few major life events and I am so grateful they are documented on my channel, especially the birth of my daughter.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I had to learn videography, editing, and about YouTube. When I first started I was pretty clueless and it took me some time to master these skills.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My just for fun YouTube channel has become my job! It is a dream come true, I get to stay home to raise my babies and work.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I am a mama to two beautiful kids (Martin 3, Aubrie-Ryan 7 months) and I love raising them in Nashville. Shortly after we moved here we felt that Nashville was HOME.
