Averianna the Personality was born back in 2015 on-campus at Middle Tennessee State University where she began studying journalism. Averianna received her bachelor’s degree from MTSU in May 2017, soon after in July 2017 moved to Los Angeles, CA. With no job lined up just graduation money and savings, she begin working at Dominos and grooming dogs at a local grooming shop.

After networking a few months she was able to start doing seat filling which was a full-time job at the time in LA. She then was able to work her way into the film and tv industry as set PA‘s which landed her on the set of major shows such as Family Feud, Steve, The Doctors, Dr.Phil, BeatShazam just to name a few. She was able to land a few red carpet freelancing gigs along the way as well. After a year well spent in LA, Averianna traveled back home to Nashville in 2018 for a part-time PA position on the set of Pickler & Ben Season 2. This lead to Talent PA for Kellie Pickler and Ben Arron. After the ending of season two Averianna begin freelance work in the city and doing sets around Tennessee. Soon after Covid hit and ended that pursuit in March 2020. Averianna then relocated back to Nashville with no idea what was next from there. In August 2020 a local radio DJ/personality approached her about an opportunity within a station he was building Streetz 99.3. Averianna never did radio before besides classes she studied at MTSU. She agreed and went in for training and practice for an entire year on air. Streetz 99.3 was a super new app at the time not many listeners so it was a perfect opportunity for her to grow. She begins taking free online marketing and pr classes to learn more about pitching for interviews. Averianna The Personality Since then has accumulated over 70 interviews including A & B list celebrities, local officials, and talent.

She continues to build the blueprint for herself as the lane she’s in she believes offers her freedom media has never really seen before due to social media. She is now known as Nashville’s Radio bae and the world’s favorite personality. She is excited to be who she’s building to be for Nashville hip-hop and hopes to continue to break those glass barriers.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not but much gratitude to the process. At 22, moving away from everything you know was something I never ever imagined doing in my life but I had a dream. Nobody could see it and believe it or not some closest to me still Don’t see it. The city is starting to see it so it leaves those who are blind no choice. I’ve definitely paid my dues I can’t tell you how many NO’s, unpaid hours.

Sleepless nights, stressing if the bills gone get paid, heartbroken weeping nights I’ve had but my dreams kept calling me. My biggest struggle was an opportunity that was Taylor maid for Averianna The Personality. I needed the freedom, the respect, the platform, the environment that was conducive to my vibrations. I never loved doing news or hard news because it was depressing to me I’m a Pisces so I’m an empath I feel everything, but MTSU told me

Not to even think about entertainment news or red carpet before landing that first news job. Although that wasn’t true I had to find my own way of proving to myself no matter what anybody told me about my personal capabilities I was in control of myself. Hence, Averianna The Personality today!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a radio and tv personality! I am mostly known for my personality Ofcourse and my viral celebrity interviews with artists such as NBA Young Boy, Toosii, Dolph, Comedian Lil Duval, Club Godzilla, Lil Durk, etc. Most of my interviews are impromptu so hustle and bustle on the fly. I’ve had the opportunity to cover carpets such as BET Awards, BET HipHop Awards, BET Soul Train Awards, NAACP Image Awards all under my personal brand Averianna The Personality which has been a huge accomplishment for me.

As of today, I have my own show #ATPHourz Monday-Wednesday 12-4 pm on streetz 99.3. It houses the daily gossip, feel-good/local music, holistic practices tips, affirmations, and manifestation hour. This show embodies who Averianna the Personality is and shows it’s possible not only in my city but my community in Nashville!

As far as what sets me apart. I did it a none traditional way. I actually went for real-world experience before even getting a stable opportunity. I’m not a part of FCC regulations it’s just everything I’ve learned technically doesn’t apply to my situation now, so I’m free to create something new and fresh and hopefully leave a legacy in doing that.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Oh wow! Ms.Jennifer Woodward at MTSU my news 1 and 2 teachers, Corey Gray CEO of Streetz, Kellie Pickler, Ben Arron, Rea Davis award-winning journalist, Bishop Walker (Pastor at local Megachurch in Nashville, Mt. Zion) Shannon Royster (News Anchor in GA), Bianca Rugimbana (Australian PR Guru), GOD! Corey Gray my boss, granted me a platform to go crazy and be as creative as I wanted with no boundaries.

Averianna The Personality has come to this point because he believed in my visions never question my decisions on anything! Full-blown support!
