Today we’d like to introduce you to Ayla Demirci.

Hi Ayla, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been drawn to the emotional power of storytelling—the way a single performance can make someone feel seen, understood, or even changed. Acting gave me a sense of freedom and clarity, a way to process emotion and connect with others on a deeper level.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Balancing family life with the hectic lifestyle that an acting career requires is not easy. As a wife and mother of 3, it’s important to be intentional with my time and with the projects that I choose to pursue.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an actress in the early stages of building my career, with nearly three years of experience and over 28 IMDb credits so far. I’ve had the chance to work on a variety of projects—ranging from comedy and horror to drama and everything in between. Most recently, I played the lead in Freak Off, a drama about a rising pop star whose world unravels after a leaked sex tape threatens her career. It’s now streaming on Prime Video. I also have several new releases coming soon, where I continue to take on both lead and supporting roles as I grow my presence in the industry.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest piece of advice for anyone just starting out is: trust your path, even when it looks different from everyone else’s. There’s no “right” way to break into this industry—some people come from formal training, others learn by doing. What matters most is showing up consistently, staying curious, and keeping your passion at the center of it all.

One thing to always keep in mind as an actor is that sometimes it’s busy and exciting, and other times it’s quiet—but that doesn’t mean you’re not progressing. The work you do when no one’s watching—your mindset, your preparation, your consistency—that’s what sets the foundation for the moments when opportunity strikes.
