Today we’d like to introduce you to Britt Jones
Hi Britt, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story has always been rooted in two things: hustle and heart. I started my career working in plastic surgery and I’ve loved every part of that journey. The strategy, the relationships, the confidence it takes to thrive in such a fast-paced industry. But even in the midst of that success, I always felt this quiet pull toward something deeper.
Faith has always been the foundation of my life. And I had this growing desire to create something that could reflect that. Something that could merge style with purpose. One day, after journaling and praying about it for weeks, the idea for Covered came to me. It started as a simple vision: a hat that could carry a message. A Testimony Trucker that reminded people they’re never walking alone.
From there, God opened doors I couldn’t have opened myself. What started as one hat has now grown into a full lifestyle brand of hats, candles, collaborations – all designed to remind people they are seen, loved, and covered by God’s grace.
Getting to this point hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to balance a career, a business, a marriage, and being a mama to two little ones. There have been late nights, early mornings, and moments I’ve questioned if I could really do it all. But through it all, God has continued to show up and make a way. I’m just walking in obedience and letting Him lead the way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road, and honestly, I don’t think it’s supposed to be. The journey has been beautiful, but it’s also been messy, stretching, and humbling in the best way.
Balancing a full-time career in sales, running Covered, being a wife, and raising two babies is no small feat. There have been plenty of nights I’ve stayed up packing orders after bedtime, or days where I’ve had to show up to a meeting exhausted but still give it my all. There were seasons where I felt pulled in every direction and questioned whether I was doing enough in any of my roles. The pressure to be everything, all at once, is real, and there were moments where the overwhelm felt louder than the calling.
But what’s carried me through has always been God’s grace. Every single time I felt like giving up, He reminded me whyI started. And every obstacle – whether it was self-doubt, time constraints, or just the sheer weight of balancing so much – has pushed me to lean on Him more than ever.
So no, it hasn’t been smooth. But it’s been purposeful. And that’s what makes it worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear a few hats – literally and figuratively. Professionally, I work in plastic surgery sales, and I absolutely love it. I specialize in building real, lasting relationships and helping clients feel confident in both their decisions and themselves. It’s a fast-paced industry that requires presence, people skills, and persistence and it’s taught me a lot about how to lead with both strategy and heart.
But what I’m most known for is Covered. A faith-based lifestyle brand I created to merge fashion with purpose. I design products like our Testimony Trucker hats and intentional candles that are more than just accessories. They’re daily reminders of God’s presence, love, and protection. Every piece is rooted in truth and created to spark conversation, connection, and confidence in people’s faith.
What I’m most proud of is the impact Covered has had beyond the products. Hearing people’s stories, how a hat started a conversation at the gym, or how a candle brought peace in a hard season, that’s what lights me up. It’s a reminder that even the small things, when done with intention, can carry big meaning.
What sets me apart is that everything I do is led by faith. I’m not here to just sell something. I’m here to serve. To encourage people in their walk, in their story, and in who they were created to be. Whether it’s through sales, a product, or a post on Instagram. I want people to feel seen, loved, and covered.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t just about numbers, sales, or how things look on paper. I define success as obedience. It’s doing what God called me to do, even when it’s hard, even when no one’s clapping, even when I don’t have all the answers. It’s staying faithful in the small things, trusting that He’s working in the background, and showing up with excellence and integrity no matter what season I’m in.
Success is also about impact. If one person wears a Testimony Trucker and feels encouraged, or someone lights a Covered Candle and feels peace in a moment of chaos – that’s success to me. It means the heart behind the brand is doing what it was created to do.
And of course, on a personal level, success looks like being fully present with my family. Being a wife and a mom is my greatest calling. If I can build something meaningful while raising kind, grounded kids and keeping my marriage strong – that’s a win in every sense of the word.
