Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Hodges.
Christopher, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I Started off as a Producer and DJ for my friends that were rising artist. The Beat List a Nashville beat battle helped with networking in the Nashville area. I’ve worked for various clubs and promoters until slowing down to private events and mentor work. The death of my girlfriend led me to understand the meaning of leaving a good impact on people instead of aiming for popularity or likes. Computer House on Jefferson st. has helped me do this with their jr tech program. We teach computer skills, social skills, and prepare techs for certifications. This year we added studio and dj classes for our techs.
I believe by teaching these skill sets we give the kids in our program a better chance at adjusting to the growth of Nashville.
Behind the scenes work has led to developing relationships in all walks of life.
Curating events for creatives providing resources for their career growth .
Work with my brother Demarcus Foster which includes, Workforce Development programs that equip people with the practical skills, training and certifications needed to secure stable jobs. The program connects employers, educators, and company partners to build a stronger prepared workforce
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It would be easy to say it has but it hasn’t. Behind the scenes work is not the most rewarding work and the vision sometimes isn’t fully there in the beginning. The struggles include financial setbacks, judgement from others who may not understand, and facing fatigue from keeping a creative spark going.

I am a DJ who loves art and music. I work as mentor to jr techs teaching them music skills, tech skills, and business skills.

Family matters the most. They provide a balance that is needed.
