Conversations with Donna Fatigato

Today we’d like to introduce you to Donna Fatigato.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have been in the wellness industry for four decades and have worked with hundreds of personal training/nutritional counseling clients and thousands of group fitness participants. I started teaching aerobics in the ’80s with leg warmers and moved to Olivia Newton John’s, ‘Let’s Get Physical’. From that moment on, I knew that I wanted to follow my passion and help others live a great quality of life. Forty years later, I am an established certified personal trainer, holistic nutrition & cooking coach, and an energetic group fitness instructor with specialties in yoga, pilates, kickboxing, Bootcamp, and cycle.

Today I can assist others near and far as I offer my services online so that I can reach people beyond my community and to those places that I travel to and love so dearly – like Nashville. Through working with so many people of various ages, fitness levels, and medical conditions ~ I decided to follow my other passion of writing and I published my first book, “Q2 ~ A Healthy Recipe for a Balanced Life.” Q2 is a book of hope, healing, and transformation by creating balance in your life, and taking ownership of your health – plus, 120 easy and healthy recipes to fuel your body and mind.

Throughout my life and career path, I have recognized that creating healthy habits in the early years is crucial, so I recently published four children’s books to help the younger generation discover self-love and self-care. Readers will discover how Exercise, Health & Wellness, Relaxation, and Eating Healthy are all connected and affect a person’s mood in ‘Bucky & Daisy’s Moody Adventures’. ‘Through the message the reader will see, what a beautiful place inside they can be.’.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes, it has been a pretty smooth road. Of course, there are always bumps in the road but how you handle and deal with those bumps will determine the outcome.

Mindset is everything! I try not to get in my own way! I have found that outlining my goals, recognizing what I need to balance in my life, and defining my why will keep me on track with enthusiasm and determination to succeed.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a well-rounded, seasoned wellness professional of forty years including personal training, corporate wellness, group fitness instruction, lifestyle/nutritional counseling, meal prep, and cooking classes. Classes and counseling are offered either online or in person. I am proud of everything that I have accomplished thus far and truly love everything that I do.

What sets me apart from the others is knowing and accepting the challenge of another level, need, and fulfillment so that I can help others achieve their goals. I created a ‘Young Lungs’ fitness program for children and a ‘Forever Young’ wellness program for seniors – plus my own version of ‘Fatigati’s Firm & Strong’ & ‘Fatigati’s Yogalati’s’ along with various corporate lunch & learn programs and seminars.

I offer seven different flavors of organic and gluten-free granola on my online store at Q2Fit.com. I am a co-author of ‘Rise Above 8 Portraits of Life Transformation’ (Published June 2018). My first published book was released in April 2018 ‘Q2 ~ A Healthy Recipe for a Balanced Life’ and it became a #1 new release in the first week. I released a Children’s Book series in 2021 “Bucky & Daisy’s Moody Adventures’ which is a total of four books. In each book, Bucky and Daisy discover the benefits of ~ Exercise, Health & Wellness, Relaxation, and Eating Healthy.

I have been on various radio and television stations, podcasts, and interviews, and a contributor to various magazines, newsletters, and wellness professionals. I enjoy being a team player with other like-minded professionals and I cannot wait to see how many other people we could positively impact!

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
Luck is a surprise but hard work and following your passion pays off personally and professionally. I believe that each day that I wake up is a lucky day and another opportunity to be the best version of myself.
