Hi Edward, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
For over 35 years, l’ve poured my heart into Above and Beyond Designs, a company that began with creating holiday Christmas outdoor lighting displays and has grown into a huge success today. My inspiration started from my grandparents, who raised me and, despite not having much money, they always went above and beyond to make every moment remarkable and spectacular for me.
Starting this business is my way of keeping their memory alive and honoring the love they showed me, turning simple holidays into unforgettable experiences for others. And now that I have built this business to be a huge success during the holiday season, I am proud to announce my expansion to do
weddings, birthdays, and any special events life may bring your way starting in 2025. I take pride in taking all the worries away from planning from start to finish, allowing my clients to enjoy their special event..

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Growing up in a foster home after losing my grandparents was a crucible that forged my resilience and determination. Those early hardships taught me to persevere through life’s toughest challenges, instilling a deep-seated belief in the power of never giving up. My professional journey as a performer in the entertainment industry further shaped me, giving me an intimate understanding of production and the intricate details required to create something unforgettable. Life’s inevitable ups and downs have only fueled my drive, transforming trials into a fire that ignites my ambition. Despite the rocky road, my unwavering commitment to excellence ensures that I pour everything into making my business not just successful, but truly spectacular.

My Tennessee RDA license, managing 35+ daily surgical patients, sharpened my precision and integrity. With an Art Institute interior design degree and cosmetology certifications, I create stunning, unforgettable aesthetics. I’m renowned for transforming visions into spectacular realities, and I’m proudest of building a business that delivers excellence with every breathtaking detail, ensuring each moment shines
