Hi Erin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career in Dermatology, was doing that for 14 years and always wanted to open my own place. I loved how I could help people with their skin journey. I found this historic house 3 years ago and knew it was the exact place to start Franklin Skin Studio.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is never a smooth road being a business owner but every little bump in the road helps me grow and become better than the day before.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a licensed aesthetician and small business owner of Franklin Skin Studio. I specialize in customized skincare and different treatments whether it be teenagers with acne, women looking to treat anti aging, sun spots or just a relaxing, refreshing facial, men who want to get a good clean up. What I do is more treatment oriented and results driven. I want to make sure I have the best technology to help do treatments, skincare that has the science and results behind it. I am proud of being able to help others become more confident in their skin and to have these clients become family. I feel like my experience from being in dermatology separates me from a lot of other people. I am able to look at the skin and know what can be treated or what should be seen by a dermatologist
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters the most to me is to have the ability to help others with their skin but to also feel better about themselves. They know that they have a place that is non judgmental, calm and safe. My clients become family to me.This business is more than a business but I want to make sure I build something that my daughter can be proud of
