Flower, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We (Jared and Angela) had a meeting at BMI to write music. After that, we kept making music.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, not at all. There has been many setbacks, including the economy we are in impacting music. There has been people that don’t understand us. We know we have something original and special and keep moving forward. We keep growing from those experiences.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are songwriters. We have a unique sound that is part of the past and part of the future.
