Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Taylor.
Hi Hannah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been singing from a young age, starting at six years old and always had a love for it. I grew up in a small town called Columbia City, IN. It wasn’t until I became a teenager that I began songwriting as well and having dreams of moving to Nashville, TN.
In 2018, I finally moved to Nashville for the final time. I had my son, who at the time was three years old, and we live with his father.
However in December 2018, I was assaulted by my ex, money stolen, and my music was all gone as well.
It was hard getting back in my feet as a newly single mom, going through with pressing charges against my abuser, finding a job, trying to balance a music career into the mix as well.
With the help of some friends, I did finally release some music- my first single was called “I Do.”
I got a job in early childhood education and finally had a safe place for my now six years old and I to live.
I have gained 80k on my TikTok account, @hannahtaylorofficial where I make some extra income. I share music, humor, and life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, I’ve had to deal with going to court against my abuser- which I won. Occasionally hate comments on my videos on TikTok.
Working hard to find somewhere to work.
I also have a new heart condition that has placed me in the hospital multiple times.

I’m extremely passionate about music and enjoy writing songs about what I’ve been through or about past experiences. I’m most proud of the 80k following I have gained in TikTok – where I can post my music and sense of humor.
What were you like growing up?
I was extremely outgoing and talkative. I loved singing all the time and dancing and acting in local theater around my area.
