Conversations with Jah Dreddz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jah Dreddz.

Hi Jah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started young in the entertainment industry, and I have Pioneered through every area from every aspect of understanding brings growth. Currently I have built a solid Brand bringing together Arts & Culture, whether it be Painting, Photography, Music, TV Production, Content Creating, Graphic Arts, ETC or giving back to Our Communities & Our Children.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a Smoove road, but when you love doing what you do, there’s nothing or no one can stop you from doing. As recently as November 2021 I had a spontaneous collapsed lung diagnosed hours before filming my TV Show LiveThatSINY, so I promised my Dr I would go straight to the E.R. after filming. I finished filming, got dropped off at the Hospital, got a chest Xray then received the bad news. I recovered by February 2022 and returned back to the TV Studio determined to do better then I did my previous years of existence. I ended up submitting that show from Nov 2021 into a Big Industry Awards Platform and lo & behold I Won My Category. I walked onstage speechless, because the show I Won for was almost my last show ever.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I Pioneer and Inspire Greatness, but I don’t believe in Perfection. Working with me on any Project or Collaboration there’s a mutual learning experience involved. Although I am the CEO & Founder Of The S!NY Brand, I also life coach to World depending how we cross paths. I’m known for putting the Industry of Art & Culture to the side and raise a Family, being a Full-Time Single Father of 5. After all my children were attending Public School, I was able to pursue my dreams by building my Brand from the Ground Up. When You Believe In Yourself’ You Show Up for Yourself’ Through All the Blood, Sweat and Tears. I’m most proud of being an Author and being able to help children become Authors no matter how old they are. Which speaks to how Important Literacy has become Present Day. We must teach to read while nourishing through Enrichment by reading with them and to them from Birth. What sets me apart is Humbly Appreciating, Waking Up every morning to see a Brand New Day, where Skys the limit of what can be accomplished and created, that alone Inspires me to be Greater than Yesterday.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
The Biggest risk I took was going from Internet Radio to Content Creating in the Streets to taking show and bringing it to Television Pioneering the Podcast Industry, while 5 children alone. I found the time in between every obstacle thrown my way and See that Win so many Awards while I’m alive to witness. LiveThatS!NY is the Parent of The S!NY Brand, which has allowed me to reconnect all the branches of My Arts & Culture Crusade. Risks are worth taking, best believe hard work pays off.
